Many photographers including me have certain go to locations for maternity, family and couples photo shoots. The lighting is just right, and the backdrop is beautiful, it’s a no-brainer to suggest those locations. However, I also encourage a spot that is meaningful, a place where you first met, had your first kiss or maybe even your neighborhood park where you bring your children. However, your home can also be an option for a more intimate shoot. Whatever you choose it should feel right to you and your family. So, when Maria reached out to me about doing her maternity shoot in Crocheron Park in Queens, New York, where she took her wedding photos I was totally on board. Here are a few of my favorites.
